Can you believe we are already just days away from 2022? It feels weird even writing that, what a whirlwind this year has been! I’ve been looking back on my purchases this year and thinking about the wardrobe that I want to curate. Now is the perfect time to put together my luxury holiday wish list, the items that I’m lusting over that I know will become staple items that I will wear and use constantly for years to come. The list that I’ve put together features items that, while they’re classics, they also have a fun twist, in theme with my transition to a more colorful and fun fashion sense reflecting my fashion evolution.
Chanel Classic Handbag in Purple
When I think of Chanel, I think of luxury, class, opulence, elegance, and timeless style. The Chanel Classic Handbag is a signature of the house and a handbag that I think every woman should own if they can. While neutral tones like black, white, and beige are sophisticated, I am feeling myself more drawn to experimenting and diversifying my handbag collection. I came across a Lambskin Classic Quilted Small Double Flap Bag in Purple and I’m obsessed. The jewel toned bag designed by legendary Karl Lagerfeld looks incredible accented with the light gold chain and Chanel CC turn lock. This beauty is first up on my holiday wish list as I know she’s incredibly versatile and will beautifully elevate so many holiday and year-round looks. I can picture myself styling her with an all-black look for a chic pop of color or with my more light and summery dresses as a fun way to add dimension to my outfit.
Rolex Oyster Perpetual Lady-Datejust
With the rise of technology and our increasing use of our phones, I feel myself gravitating back to timeless watches. I love the thought of honoring traditions and that’s why the Rolex Lady Datejust 28mm Everose Gold Ladies Watch is next on my holiday wish list. She’s truly one of a kind and will add a graceful element to my everyday and evening looks. The refined timepiece is definitely an investment and one I’ve been contemplating for a while, but I know that it’s one that I will cherish forever and can also become a family heirloom. I particularly love the everose gold tone of the watch with its subtle feminine touch that will perfectly accent the rest of my jewelry collection. Leading up to 2022, I’ve decided to choose items that call in more abundance. I feel like next year will be all about reaping the rewards of all my hard work over the last few years and I would love a beautiful statement jewelry piece that will remind me of how far I’ve come and to reward myself for the goals that I have already achieved. Who said winter layers have to be boring?! Rather than opting for the usual coats or puffer jackets in black or cream during the cool weather months, I’ve been searching for something a little more glamorous and with some color. I came across this absolute showstopper, the Maurizio Braschi Belted Horizontal Fox-Fur Parka Jacket in Forest Green. Its class reminds me of the fabulous fashion in the 1950s with a modern shorter length and interesting elements with the horizontal detailing. I love the addition of the belt, ensuring that I can cinch in my waist to give a feminine silhouette while I keep warm wearing either a dress for the holiday season, denim and knitwear underneath for more casual occasions, or to and from work over a streamlined suit. I couldn’t have a holiday wish list without some divine crystal and something to satisfy my love of homewares.
