I’m kicking things off with an exciting addition to my handbag collection, my new Valentino VSLING Handbag with Sparkling Embroidery in Rose Quartz. It’s truly a showstopper and unlike anything I’ve worn before. Adding The Valentino Vsling To My Handbag Collection
Handbags are one of my favorite ways to elevate my outfits, the options are truly endless, and you can have so much fun either coordinating them with the rest of your accessories or styling your outfit around a statement handbag.
Traditionally, all the handbags I have owned and gravitated towards have been classics, both classic styles and in classic colors. While the classics will always have a special place in my heart, I decided that it’s time to have some fun and add some color to my collection.
With the current festive season, I’ve been feeling fancy and was on the lookout for something extra special and glamorous that I could treat myself to that will jazz up my festive ensembles. I went into the Valentino store and as soon as I saw the Valentino VSLING Handbag with Sparkling Embroidery in Rose Quartz it captured my heart, I think it’s so unique and flirty. The combination of the sparkling embroidery and the rose quartz color is a beautiful way to accentuate my feminine side in a bold way, and I feel that the more of a pastel color is the right amount of va va voom for me.
If your personal style and handbag choices tend to be more classic and monochromatic but you are feeling adventurous and romantic, I highly recommend the Valentino VSLING collection. They also have other color variations including a metallic silver, textured leather in black and white, and an assortment of block colors including hot pink, red, blue, beige, green and black. You’ll be sure to find an option that will suit your desired aesthetic and lifestyle.
Details Of the Handbag
Let’s take a closer look at the handbag and the incredible artisanal and handmade workmanship of the Valentino Garavani handbag. As you can see, the main feature of the handbag is that it is entirely covered in rhinestones, mine in rose quartz and features a stunning V logo signature closure that is also covered in Swarovski crystals, a very decadent touch in my opinion.
The Valentino VSLING handbag has both a top handle and attachable extendable shoulder strap, I appreciate that it comes with both options. I will most probably only wear it with the top handle as I see it more as an evening handbag, however if you choose to wear it during the day and enjoy being hands-free, you can always carry the strap with you inside the bag to attach it when you need it.
I love that the handbag also features a pink leather interior, it makes it super easy to find my belongings inside and is a luxurious touch. Made in Italy of course, Valentino is a leader in the international fashion scene with Valentino Garavani their collection dedicated to their accessories including handbags, shoes, small leather goods, belts and more.
My style aligns with that of Valentino Garavani as they have a contemporary vision and aesthetic, however they utilize traditional techniques and add handmade details which showcases their high level of craftmanship. The Haute Couture House has always been one of my favorites in the world of luxury fashion.
Styling Advice For The Festive Season
Now for the fun part, styling the handbag. With more and more festive events coming up as we get closer to Christmas and the New Year, I see myself getting a lot of wear out of the bag (cost-per-wear win!).
If you are heading to an elegant Christmas or New Year’s party and want to add eye-catching sparkle to your look, pair a classic black dress with your Valentino VSLING handbag. If you’re feeling extra adventurous, you can pair it with matching Valentino V earrings or more sparkly jewels, this is what I plan on doing.
If you prefer to mix masculine and feminine vibes in your outfits, I love the idea of wearing a tailored suit, in either black, white or a statement color with the handbag. Suiting is so chic and stylish, if you are daring, forego the shirt underneath (just make sure to have some Hollywood tape handy) or pair the suit with a cute camisole and your favorite stilettoes.
And for after the festive season, keep your Valentino VSLING bag in high rotation by styling it with your monochromatic daywear. You will be sure to turn heads on the street or at the office, it’s a great way to add a playful element to an otherwise simple outfit. This is also where your shoulder strap will come in handy, that way you can take it out on your shopping trips and lunches without having to carry it in your hands all day.
