Amina Muaddi has certainly entered the world of luxury fashion with a bang! Her standout heels have been seen on all the most photographed and fashionable celebrities and influencers causing her shoes to be sold out so fast that you’d have to count yourself lucky to get your hands on the pair you desire. Today I’m sharing my new Amina Muaddi heel purchases, my thoughts on the brand and styles and whether I think they’re worth the investment.
Amina Muaddi Begum Glass and Satin Heels
I’m so excited to share my new Amina Muaddi Shoes. I purchased three of her popular Begum style, two in PVC, burgundy and pink shades, and a satin pair in sky shadow all featuring the gorgeous sunburst crystals and martini heels. I was so drawn to the shoes as they remind me of a combination of Cinderella heels with a new and modern take on the classic Manolo Blahnik’s. I particularly love the shape of the flared heel; it gives the illusion of a sexy stiletto with more stability when you walk which makes them super comfortable to wear all day. The crystals are also divine and ultra-sparkly making them the ultimate shoe to dress up any outfit.
From a style point of view, I really love the design, I feel like the shape has staying power in the world of fashion trends. If you are considering purchasing a pair, I would recommend the satin heels if you’re looking for a classic option that is timeless, and if you are looking to have some fun with fashion, I would recommend one of the colored PVC styles, they are also a great way to elongate your leg if you want to appear taller.
I will be unboxing these beauties soon, on my YouTube channel AngieChandiramani! Stay Tuned.
Should you invest in a pair of Amina Muaddis?
Before I made the decision to invest in my three pairs of Amina Muaddis, I did my research. There have been some reviews amongst the luxury YouTube community specifying the quality of the heels, particularly the PVC styles. At a high-end price point, I would expect top quality and craftsmanship, especially as the shoes are manufactured in Italy. I have noticed that those who have purchased the more recently manufactured styles have not experienced the quality issues (visible glue and not finished well) as those who purchased them a year ago so hopefully the brand has rectified the issues they were having. I feel that while the shoes look gorgeous, I’m not overly impressed with the quality when I inspect them up close when I consider the high price point.
If you are considering purchasing a pair, I would highly recommend buying them from somewhere with a solid returns policy, that way you can try on the shoes at home, take a close look at them and decide for yourself whether you think they’re the right investment for you.
Personally, I’m happy to keep mine and to style them with my festive outfits and evening outfits in the future, I love the look of them!
